Moving side"walks"!

Anyone who flies Delta knows the drill in Atlanta when connecting on a different concourse....

You take the train, the moving sidewalk or you walk. I always walk. Sheena is traveling with me today and she walks on the moving sidewalk as I walk next to the moving sidewalk. So today we approached a moving sidewalk and there was a lady just standing at the entrance obviously trying to decide if she could/should step on (remember Buddy the Elf at the bottom of his first escalator ride?). Sheena approaches so the lady makes the move to step on that contraption and stands there with her rolling luggage. I pass on by as the belt doesnt move very fast and I have a long stride. There is another gentleman right beside me, also walking. She looks over at him with a bewildered look at who i assume was her husband beside me as we both passed and commented "it would have been faster to have walked". Meanwhile, Sheena then steps on, continues walking and approaches this lady, still standing, while asking to get by her on the belt. The lady had a eureka moment and exclaimed "Oh, you can walk on these sidewalks". And that was the "Here's your sign" moment of my day.

Her husband enjoyed a big eye roll.

It was funny.
